Former EVANESCENCE Guitarist BEN MOODY Sued By Management Company

January 28, 2013

According to TMZ.com, former EVANESCENCE guitarist Ben Moody is being sued by Rider Management Inc. for $500,000 in unpaid commissions.

Rider claims to have entered into an agreement with Moody in 2006, granting the company commission on Moody's various musical projects.

After leaving EVANESCENCE in 2003, Moody embarked on a successful career as a songwriter and producer, having written songs for and produced recordings from such artists as Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry and Celine Dion. Moody also released solo music and formed the rock band WE ARE THE FALLEN with several other ex-EVANESCENCE members.

Moody's most recent solo release, "You Can't Regret What You Don’t Remember", was made available in November 2011 via his own label, FNR Records.
